We give feedback on and off. Either you are sitting in a restaurant and asked for feedback or you have to fill an online feedback response on a purchase of a Skirt. Some questionnaires are easy to fill but some are really dreadful. Balance in questions would help you to get the proper insights.
Customer feedback is the need of time. Specifically, for those industries who are into technology and innovation. However, it has been seen that companies face difficulties in collecting feedbacks. It happens for two reasons, either company has no idea how to collect the feedback ? or they make a hard process for collecting it.
Here are some of the key points that you should keep in your mind while designing a feedback form.
More the form is user-friendly, more likely it will be to get the responses filled. Nowadays, people are always running short on time and do not want to get into complicated stuff. However, if you want feedback then make sure it’s user-friendly.
2. Spacing must be proper
Too many words will suffocate the reader. However, if the lines are easy on the eyes and do not look crowded then you will be having more chances to get the responses filled.
3. Proper Labelling
Clear and precise commands should be given. Questions and labels should place side by side so that user won’t find any difficulty filling the response. If they are not properly spaced, then a user has to scroll back and forth that will make him quit the response right away.
4. Do not ask for every question to be answered
Never make any restrictions on filling all the fields. Leave it on the user and accept whatever he fills for you. Its always better to have something instead of nothing.
5. Must be compatible with Gadgets
Good designs would grab your customer’s attention and Compatibility comes after the design. Therefore, make sure whatever design you make for your response form, it must be compatible with every possible device that can be used by a user.
6. Be inquisitive
Ask those questions that make you bizarre and you always look for them to be answered. Also, it will be an add-on, if you ask questions in a way that actually convey them some meaning.
7. Relevance in questions
You should be very specific while asking questions. If you want to know about the customer experience regarding your brand then all the questions must revolve around it. Do not ask irrelevant questions as it will make user irresponsive to the feedback form.
